Deborah Hebert

June 27, 1950 — February 1, 2022

Deborah Ann Hebert was born June 27, 1950 in Lake Charles, LA to the late James D. and Juanita Palmertree.

She attended Lake Charles High School, graduating class of 1968. She then attended McNeese University where she studied Special Education and Horticulture. She attended Delta Tech earning an associate degree.

While attending school, she would meet her soon to be husband at Tom & Mac’s.

Together they welcomed three children, and she is best remembered as a patient, loving, and doting mother and wife. She was a two time cancer survivor, having beat lymphoma twice. She enjoyed learning to draw, paint and spending time with her dogs. Having studied horticulture, she had a passion for gardening and tending to her patio plants.  

She was welcomed into Heaven on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 by her parents James D. and Juanita Palmertree.

Those left to cherish her memory: her husband of fifty-two years, Dwight Hebert; two daughters, Kimberly and Jenny Hebert; a son Michael Hebert; grandchildren, Ridge (Amy) Druilhet, Kayleigh Hebert, Damen Khol Bland, Khloe LeAnn Bland, Kyleigh Daigle; great grandchildren, Alina Druilhet and Aiden Druilhet.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. At her request, no services or memorials will be performed.  In lieu of flowers, friends may make contributions in her name to the American Heart Association.
