Deborah Knisely

October 4, 1953 — June 11, 2022

Deborah Sue Knisely, 68, passed away peacefully at her residence.

She was born on October 4, 1953, to John and Mary Knisely.

She loved the Lord, her family, children, grandchildren, her friends, and her children's and grandchildren’s friends. She talked to the Lord constantly and shared vivid dreams of them speaking together often. She wrote down special things for us to read in a notebook so we would always have her words close. She would tap the little notebook next to the chair and smile. She wanted her children to be happy.

She was humble, happy, funny, strong willed and determined. She has dreams bigger than life. She loved all types of music, and she could sing like an angel. She loved cooking. She could make a feast for a king from leftovers in the icebox. She loved reading, writing, doing crafts, giving gifts, playing games, planting flowers, planning, organizing trips and making lists for everything. She loved celebrating holidays with her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Zoe Ange (George) and Kirk Fertakis (Lois); grandchildren, George Jr., Floyd (Karen), Allison, Kristian and Nikolaus; great grandchildren, Easton and Aria; and nephews, T-John and Karl.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Tom Knisely.

Graveside services will be held at Old Ritchie Cemetery on Monday, June 20, 2022, at 10 a.m. Dr. John Robert Black will officiate. Burial will take place in the cemetery following the service.
