Deborah Lynn "Debbie" Lafleur Attaway

Deborah Lynn “Debbie” LaFleur Attaway, 64, of Lake Charles passed away at 7:14 AM on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 in Lake Charles.

Debbie was born on January 9, 1957 in Lake Charles where she resided all of her life and attended Barbe High School.  She will be remembered as a devoted wife with a loving and caring soul.  Debbie enjoyed a good time and never met a stranger.  She had an inviting, friendly personality with an open demeanor.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Doug Attaway of Lake Charles; sisters, Vickie Verrett and Eva Rae Batey both of Lake Charles; brothers, Michael LaFleur of Moss Bluff and LeRoy M. LaFleur, Jr. of Lafayette; and two Goddaughters, Masie Lane Fowler of Virginia and Lauren Verrett of Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Geraldine and LeRoy LaFleur, Sr. and a brother, Danny LaFleur.

Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
