Deborah Owen

Deborah Owens, 57, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 14, 1967, to Rose Marie Armato and James Elbert Phillips.

Deborah was a gifted artist, and her creative spirit was evident in everything she did. She had a passion for cooking, gardening, and was an avid lover of card games. Above all, Deborah cherished her family deeply.

Deborah is survived by her daughter, Denise Renee Tuttle Varner (Marshall); her son, Evan Owen (Briana); her grandchildren, Kaylen, Chelsa, Curtis, Jason, and Perry; and her siblings, William "Bill" Phillips, James Phillips, and Denise Phillips. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 24 years, Jason Owen, and her parents.

A private memorial service will be held by the family. Cremation arrangements are being handled by Johnson Funeral Home.
