Debra Billings

Debra Billings, 57, of Cameron, LA died on Thursday, August 28, 2014 in Lake Charles, LA surrounded by her loving family. Debbie was born in Lake Charles, LA on September 15, 1956 to Alvin and Ruby Murphy. Debbie loved being around family and friends, traveling, and listening to country music. She was a lifelong resident of Cameron, LA. Survivors include her loving husband of 36 years, Orson Billings; three children, Ryan Billings and wife Chelsie of League City, TX, Brett Billings and wife Kathleen of Lake Charles, and Jodi Lafosse of Jennings, LA; brother, Pat Murphy; sister, Phyllis Murphy; mother, Ruby Murphy; five grandchildren, Ethan Billings, Cooper Billings, Aubrey Billings, Conor Lafosse, and Elise Billings. She was preceded in death by her father, and one brother, Ronnie Murphy. Services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Visitation will be Friday, August 29, 2014 from 3:30 pm until 9:00pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home from 8:00 am until 9:30 am. Burial will be at Prien Cemetery. Father Nathan Long will officiate services.
