Delores J. Jordan

Delores J. Jordan, 79, of Lake Charles passed away at 3:20 AM on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 in a local care facility.

Mrs. Jordan was born on May 26, 1941 in Rayne, LA.  She was a graduate of Sulphur High School before moving to Texas where she met her current husband.  They moved to Lake Charles more than 15 years ago but enjoyed traveling the entire United States, with the exception of North Dakota, with her husband in his truck. 

She will be remembered for her helpful spirit, always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.  She was a very loving person to people around her as well as animals.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Joe Jordan of Lake Charles; children, Kearney Menard and Joey Menard both of Lake Charles, and Chrystine Jordan of Sulphur; siblings, Janie Fusilier Moser of Tennessee, and Mary Hughes and Gay Hatten both of Sulphur; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mettie Ruth and Delmore Fusilier and a brother, Darrel Fusilier.

Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
