Delores Tuminello

Delores Fertitta Tuminello, 88, of Lake Charles, La died Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at a local care facility. Delores was born on October 21, 1926 in Beaumont, TX to Frank and Margaret Fertitta. She enjoyed painting, playing the piano, and being a part of the Krewe dele Famille. She was a member of Saint Margaret Catholic Church where she was a Eucharistic minister for many years. She was also a member of the Lake Charles Country Club Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by one son, Tommy Tuminello Jr. of Lake Charles, La; one daughter, Marsha Topham and husband Alvin of Lake Charles, La; three grandchildren, Margaret Tuminello of Lake Charles, La, Leah Shiels and husband Gene of Houston, TX; and Drew Topham of Las Vegas, NV. Services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, November 14, 2014 at Saint Margaret Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 5:30 PM Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will resume from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM Friday November 14, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Consolata Cemetery. Rev. Bill Miller will officiate services. In lieu of flowers, memorials, and donations the family is only asking for prayers in memory of Ms. Delores.
