Denny Eugene Yount, Jr.

Denny Eugene Yount Jr. of Lake Charles, Louisiana passed away on June 13, 2023 at 8:05 am at Harbor Hospice. He was born on August 27, 1977, in Belleville, IL.

He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Dawn Yount (Batchelor) and his sweet daughter Cheyana Rose Yount. Also by his mother Ava Henseler (Leslie Henseler, husband) of Fleming Island, Florida, sister BruzAnn (Zanny) Henseler of Lake Asbury, Florida, and his father Denny Eugene Yount, Sr (wife Alana Yount) of Illinois. Also by many wonderful aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, all of whom he truly loved. Paul and Joyce Yount and Francis (Bruz) and Ann Lewis.

He loved his family. He loved Louisiana. He loved his dogs, especially Blu! If you met him, you loved him. He never knew a stranger and made everyone laugh. He was also an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. He was a fabricator by trade and just a really fun person. He will be missed. Jesus was his Lord and Savior and he is now home with Him.
