Desiree Elizabeth Ross

Desiree Elizabeth Ross, 29, of Lake Charles passed away Wednesday, May 01, 2013 as a result of a seizure disorder.

Miss Ross was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles. She was a 2001 graduate of Washington Marion High School. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, handheld and computer games and especially loved swimming. Prior to her illness, Desiree was an honor student, avid softball player and gymnast. She will be most remembered for her dominant and sassy personality.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, Dillard and Rita Guillory Ross of Lake Charles; one brother, Dillard Ross II and wife Brandy of Baton Rouge; two nieces, Skylar and Kelsie Ross of Baton Rouge; thirteen aunts and uncles and many special friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dave and Bessie Ross and Adam and Lorena Guillory.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 08, 2013 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Jimmy R. Stevens will officiate. Interment will follow in Combre Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday will be from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will continue Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the time of service in the funeral home.
