Dewey Joseph Thibodeaux

Dewey “Dee” Joseph Thibodeaux,84, of Sulphur passed away on November 19, 2015 in his residence. He was of the Catholic faith, enjoyed dancing and tinkering with wood, making many wooden toys for the grandchildren.   Dee is survived by his wife of 15 years, Regina Thibodeaux of Sulphur; two daughters, Sheila Duplechin and husband Kenneth of Carlyss and Tangy Broussard and husband Donald of Sulphur; two sons, Kevin Thibodeaux and wife Sue of Sulphur and Lynn Parish and wife Jean of Marion, LA; his step-son, Sammy Meche and wife Kassie of Aubrey, TX; 11 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; his sister, Delores Manuel; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 6 brothers; 2 sisters; 1 great grandson; and 1 great-great granddaughter.   Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 12:30 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 5:30 P.M. till 9 P.M. with a rosary at 7:30 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Sunday at 9 A.M. at the funeral home until time of the service.
