Diana A. Mcmanus

Diana A. McManus, 70, of Lake Charles, Louisiana died at 9:56 PM, Wednesday January 2, 2013 in her residence with her loving family at her side.

Mrs. McManus was born in Mamou, Louisiana on May 17, 1942 to the parents of Hazel and Saris Aucoin. She was a 1960 graduate of Mamou High School and she attended McNeese State University. She has lived in Lake Charles since 1971. Mrs. McManus worked for 12 years as a secretary for McNeese State University. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel. She worked with the RCIA at the church. Mrs. McManus enjoyed gardening, shopping and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years William McManus of Lake Charles, LA, one daughter Ashley McManus of Baton Rouge, LA, two sons, Edward McManus and wife Jamie of Tampa, FL, and Stephen McManus of Lake Charles, LA, one sister, Renella Fuselier and husband Lee of Lafayette, LA two grandchildren, Evan and Chase McManus of Tampa, FL, many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. McManus is preceded in death by her parents Hazel and Saris Aucoin and one sister, Janice Aucoin Garrido.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Father Alan Trouille will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Friday at 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will continue at 8:00 AM on Saturday until 12:30 PM in the funeral home. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM on Friday in the funeral home.
