Diane Monceaux Mccardle

Diane Monceaux McCardle of Vinton passed on February 18, 2024. Born in Lake Arthur, Diane is a graduate of the Sulphur High School Class of 1962. She lived most of her adult life in Vinton, where her professional career was spent caring for people with special needs at the Calcasieu Multi-Handicapped Center and the Calcasieu Parish School Board. She enjoyed being with family, keeping up with her grandchildren, and watching her favorite tv programs with her dog Mikey.

Diane is survived by her husband of 62 years, James William (Bill) “Cuz” McCardle; four sons, Jeffrey, Kevin (Thomas), Tony (Julie), and Todd (Jilliane); nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Donnie and Dickey; one sister, Norma. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Belle Monceaux, her sister, Sadie, brother, Alton Jr., and great granddaughter, Lexie.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 10 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at @ 1:30 P.M. following the visitation with Bro. Raymond Richard officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
