Dixie O'Quain

Dixie O’Quain, 61, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, surrounded by her family.

Dixie enjoyed cooking, being her grandkids taxi driver, lifetime channel, the food network, her “apple juice” every night, gossiping with cousins, belly laughing and as her voicemail said, “Doing what she did”.

Dixie is survived by Keisha and her husband, Vinson Dansby; her favorite daughter, Brittany Blum; granddaughters, Jasmine, Marissa, Brooklyn, Addison and Brynlee; brother, Jason O’Quain; forever family, Bobby, Brady and Brock Blum; and a plethora of nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur “Hoppy” and Patsy Lee O’Quain; brothers, Mitchell and Wade O’Quain; and her nephew, Dustin “Bull” O’Quain.

Services for Dixie will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 2 PM at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with Pastor Vince Guidry officiating.  Burial will follow at Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at the funeral home from 12 PM until the time or service.
