Dolice Chapman Voussine

Dolice Chapman Voussine, 90, of Lake Charles died in her residence at 12:26 P.M. Monday, June 20, 2011.

Ms. Chapman was born in Eunice, Louisiana on February 23, 1921. Ms. Chapman was a professional seamstress. Ms. Chapman was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.

Ms. Chapman is survived by her son, Roderick Chapman and wife Mary of Conroe, Texas; daughter, Sarah Dubose and husband Don of Port Townsend, Washington; daughters, Veda Rushing and Charlotte Edwards, both of Lake Charles; son, Randall Chapman and wife Suzanne of Moss Bluff, Louisiana.

Ms. Chapman was preceded in death by her parents, Tobert Miller and Odealia Ortego, and two husbands, Curry Chapman and Joseph Voussine, Sr.

Services for Ms. Dolice Chapman Voussine will be held Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 10 AM at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Father Scott Conner will officiate. Visitation will begin on Wednesday at 5 PM to 9 PM with a rosary at 7 PM. Visitation will continue on Thnursday at 8 AM till service time.
