Dolores Jean Hoffpauir, 79 of Sulphur passed away on January 9, 2013 in her residence. Funeral services will be held on Friday January 11, 2013 at 10a.m. with Deacon Bud Wagoner officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Sulphur under the direction of Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 2-9 p.m. with a rosary at 6p.m. at Robison Funeral Home and will resume on Friday at 8 a.m. until time of service. Dolores was born in Lake Charles and lived in Sulphur most of her life. She was a graduate of St. Louis Catholic High School in 1950. After graduating she worked as a medical secretary for 30 plus years for Dr. V.A. McCann and Dr. Anacleto Ordinario. Dolores was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Sulphur, a post member of American Business Women Association, and the Catholic Daughters #1255. She loved ceramics, reading, dancing, singing, crossword puzzles and trivia. Dolores was also an Elvis fan. Dolores is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Hoffpauir of Sulphur; son, Shelby Jayce Hoffpauir and wife, Julie of Sulphur; daughter-in-law, Margaret Hoffpauir of Sulphur;11 grandchildren, Derek Hoffpauir, Nathaniel Hoffpauir, Lauren Hoffpauir, Maggie Hoffpauir, Chrystal Grooms and Tamara White, Laken Hoffpauir, Logan Hoffpauir, Daylan Hoffpauir, Donavan Hoffpauir and Katelyn Hoffpauir; 5 great grandchildren;brothers, Donald and wife, Karla of TX and Kenneth Corkran of Sulphur. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jearald JD Hoffpauir; 3 sons, Jerry, Jeffery and Michael Hoffpauir; brother, John Burr Corkan; sister, Audrey Hoffpauir.
