Dominica R. Daley

Dominica Renee Daley always greeted you with the most beautiful smile, one you would never forget.

She was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana on October 16, 2014 and attended Kindergarten at Dolby Elementary. Her feisty spirit, and zest for life kept her whole family on their toes. She was caring, loved animals, baking, drawing, singing, dance, and spending time with her family.  

She attended Tammy Palmer’s Center Stage Dance Studio, where she gracefully danced across the stage to Jazz music. She loved being outdoors, especially the beach, where her creativity was never limited, building sand castles, looking for shells to decorate it with.

With open arms, her grandfathers, Roger Chaline and Richard Daley welcomed her beautiful soul into Heaven on April 11, 2021.

Those to cherish her memory are her favorite person, Vickie Daley; siblings, Will Daley, Latiesha Jackson, and Kross Goodwin, her Nanny’s Cheyenne Daley and Chelsey Fruge; her grandfather, Steve Daley’ her great grandmother, Gerrie Guillotte; cousins, Caleb, Camron, Kylie, and Kinsley; her mother, Destiny Daley; a great aunt, Holly Leafstedt.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. The family will welcome friends on May 8, 2021 at University Baptist Church beginning at 1:30pm until time of service. A memorial service will begin at 2pm led by Tony Bourque.
