Donald "Buck" James Laborde

Funeral services for Donald Buck James LaBorde, 57, of Sulphur, will be held on Monday, October 18, 2010 at 11am at St. Theresas Catholic Church in Carlyss. Father Jerry Boulinger will officiate. Burial will follow in Mimosa Pines Cemetery, Carlyss, Louisiana. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 17, 2010 beginning at 3 pm at Robison Funeral Home. A rosary will be held at 6 pm. Donald was preceded in death by his father: Otis LaBorde; brother: Keith LaBorde; sister: Brenda LaBorde; and nephew: Todd LaBorde. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He loved to hunt and fish and was a talented cook. Mr. LaBorde is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Deborah Dee LaBorde of Sulphur; 3 daughters: Stephanie Jackson and husband Jeremy of Sulphur, Stacie Tharp and husband Jason of Sulphur, and Bridget Williams and husband John of Sulphur; 5 grandchildren: Kalli Tharp, Rhett Tharp, Aubree Jackson, Colby Jackson, and Ben Williams; his mother: Ramona LaBorde of Sulphur; 1 sister: Greta Huval and husband David of Moss Bluff; and a host of other family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
