Donald James Trahan Funeral services for Donald James Trahan, 76 of Sulphur, will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 10a.m.. at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church with Father Jim Winiarski officiating. Burial will follow in Mimosa Pines Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 from 3-9 p.m. with a rosary at 7p.m. at Robison Funeral Home. Donald was a native and lifelong resident of Sulphur. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1953-1955. After schooling, he worked at The Dept. of Transportation and Development for 30 years before retiring. He then worked for 10 years for Meyers and Assoc. He was a lifelong member of Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church and also in the Knights of Columbus. He will be remembered as an example of Love and Kindness and as a true Gentleman. Donald is survived by his wife, Maria Trahan of Sulphur, 3 daughters, Michelle Mostow of Sulphur, Lisa Wilson and husband James, of Lumberton, TX and Simone Blue and husband Jeff, of Sulphur, son, Donny Trahan of Sulphur, 3 grandchildren, Hannah Blue, Anderson Blue and Jude Blue, all of Sulphur, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leazy and Elisa Trahan and 3 sisters, Zelda White, Edith Perry Babineaux and Ida Finn.
