Donald Lee Cooper, Ii

Donald Lee Cooper, II, 60 years old, passed away Friday, April 15, 2022. He was born on August 18, 1961 to Donald Lee and Helen Benoit Cooper in Chicopee, MA.

He graduated from Iowa High School where he was an accomplished track star. He loved to play basketball, drive fast and live free. His family and dogs were his world. He was a very hard worker, and you could always find him working on something outside. He was a loving father, brother, son, and grandfather. His beautiful spirit will be missed by all.

Those left to cherish his memory are, his son, Trent Farris “Julieson,” his daughters, Dawn Cooper (Fiancé Chris), twins, Halie and Kalie Cooper (Cory), His father, James Smith “Smitty,” his sisters, Gina, Vicki, Donna, and Chrissi, his brothers, Eddie and Dan, and many nieces and nephews, his grandchildren, Cayden, Trenity “Monkey,” Breely “BB,”, Killian “Lil Man,” Clayton, Elizabeth, and Samantha,  his Uncle Edward, Aunt Boots and Annie, and his pups, Cooper, Isis, and Freya.

Donny was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and girlfriend, Britta.

His funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 22, 2022, in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Albert and Mr. Arthur will officiate. Burial will follow in Benoit Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, April 21, 2022, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and will continue on Friday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.
