Donald Lenard Morgan

Donald Lenard Morgan, 88, of Sulphur passed away on December 22, 2022 surrounded by his family. He Proudly served in the U. S. Army where he played baseball, then later after being discharged, continued to play in the U S Minor League. Donald retired from Firestone after 30 plus years of service. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and sports, especially baseball. Donald loved being around his kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visiting and checking on others was something he took pride in.

 Donald is survived by his beloved wife and sweetheart of 61 years, Max Ann; son, Patrick Morgan; daughter, Julie Kyle (John Haley); 4 grandchildren, Scott Kyle (Tracie), Nicholas Kyle, Megan Frey and Maggie Brown (Derrick) and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernice “Red” and Era Morgan; sisters, Bernice Jones and Vernell Thibodeaux; son, Michael Morgan and daughter, Meleena Frey.

 A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 5 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with a visitation beginning at 3 P.M. for family and friends.
