Donald Soirez

Donald Soirez, 59, of Hackberry, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021, in his residence.  Donald was a retired electrician.  He loved to play bingo and was a big fan of sports.

Donald is survived by his stepmother, Sadie Soirez; three sisters, Lois Soirez, Kattie Toups and husband, Terry of Hackberry and Donna “Sissy” Hebert and husband, Richard of Devers, TX; one brother, Carroll Soirez and wife, Sheilah of Moss Bluff; six nephews; two nieces; and two great nieces.  He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph R. and Ruby Marie Soirez; and two brothers, Gerald “Paul” Soirez and David “Vincent” Benoit.

Services for Donald will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at 2 PM at the New Hackberry Community Center with Father Arvind Minz officiating.  Burial will follow at Hackberry Community Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10 AM until the time of service.
