Donna Lynn Fontenot

Donna Lynn Aucoin Fontenot, 51, of Lake Charles, died suddenly on Wednesday April 17, 2019 at her residence.

A life-long resident of Lake Charles, Donna enjoyed reading, spending time with her family and her beloved dogs. She was a graduate of Lake Charles Boston High School and Delta Tech. Donna worked for many years as a cook and Deli Manager for Kroger on 12^th Street. Donna will be remembered as a beautiful, loving person who loved and cared for others and will be greatly missed.

Donna was preceded in death by her father, Robert Aucoin; husband, Paul Fontenot; granddaughter, Shae Fontenot and niece, Ashley Guidry. Those left to honor and cherish her memory include her mother, Jeanette Aucoin; son, Robert Courtney and his wife, Adreana; daughters, Hannah Courtney and her fiancé, Sean Jeffreys, and Heather Fontenot; grandchildren, Laney Courtney, Kieraonna Fontenot, Kha’Dejah Moore, Robert Glen Courtney; sisters, Lisa Guidry and her husband Jack, and Rachel Aucoin-Lupo; beloved friend, M.L. Hooper, and beloved four legged friend, her Min Pin Jolie.

A Celebration of her Life will be at 2:00 PM, Monday April 22, 2019, at Simple Traditions by Johnson Funeral Home, 3448 5^th Ave., Lake Charles, LA 70607.
