Donna Marie Pousson

Sweet, caring, and strong-willed are the words that come to mind when thinking about Donna Marie Pousson. Everyone who knew Donna loved her. She always kept a huge, beaming smile on her face and she never met a stranger. It’s rare to find someone who cared as deeply for others as Donna did. She was truly one of a kind, and Heaven is lucky for gaining such a beautiful soul.

Donna was born on February 8,1959 to Anthony Pousson Sr. and Wava Mae Pousson (Daigle) of Westlake, Louisiana. She gained her wings on June 15, 2024. She is reunited in death with her parents and sisters Debra Ann Norris and Sheila Mae Alleman.

Donna’s greatest joy in life was her family. Her memory will be cherished forever by her children Tiffany Noel Heller, Jude Anthony Richard, and Adam Dale Richard; grandson and favorite person in the whole wide world Braidy Issac Heller; significant other Mark Dwayne Hebert; brother Anthony Pousson Jr; sisters Janice Lee Goodloe and Antoinette Little; nieces Felicia Ann Alleman, Cindy Renae Brantley, Carol Ann Norris, and Candy Jane Norris; nephews Joshua Lee Little, Anthony Peter Bruno III, and Devin Scott Cornett; cousin Cheryl Bertrand; and her cat Meow.

The family will welcome the public on Monday, June 24, 2024 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. A rosary will be recited at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff Monday at 6 p.m. Visitation will continue at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. The funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 10 a.m.Burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens following the service.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to the ICU staff at Christus St. Patrick’s Hospital for the compassionate care given to Donna during her final weeks.
