Donna Ann Drounette Theriot

Donna Ann Drounette Theriot, 79, of Sulphur, LA passed away peacefully Sunday, November 17, 2024 at a local hospital.

Mrs. Theriot was a native and lifelong resident of Sulphur. She was a graduate of Sulphur High School. Mrs. Theriot embraced being a stay-at-home mom and grandmother, loved spending lots of time with her brothers and sisters, enjoyed gatherings for meals and card games and downtime spoiling her precious cats. She was a great cook, her specialties being banana pudding, roast with gravy and her infamous Sunday morning biscuits. She also enjoyed fishing. Mrs. Theriot was a believer, a lady of faith and prayer. She will be most remembered for her love and devotion to her family. Her greatest love was her husband, Wiltz. Her greatest joy was having her son and grandson at home and helping to raise, Christian.

Mrs. Theriot leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Steven Paul Keever and grandson, Christian Aubrey Keever, both of Sulphur; one sister, Pat Drounette Crochet of Sulphur; numerous nieces and nephews and her dearest friends, Ida Reed, Michelle DeRoche and Louise Nehl.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wiltz J. Theriot, Jr.; ten siblings, Albert Drounette, Vera Jones, Douglas Drounette, Colleen Drounette, George Drounette, Shirley Francis, Larry Drounette, Robert Drounette, Lois Fruge and Sheila Kibodeaux and her dearest friends, Brenda Williams, Sue Jordan and Cindy Morse, Brenda Carlin, Charlie Barnes and Charles Reed.

A Remembrance Celebration will be held at a later date.
