Doris Marie Murray McCain passed away on Monday, November 7, 2011 at the age of 88. She was a native of Gainesville, Texas, and had lived in Lake Charles most of her life.

Doris was employed at the Cities Service Refinery. She was a member of the Lake Charles Seventh-Day Adventist Church and was the Church Treasurer for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie R. McCain, her parents, Bernie and Lessie Murray, and her sisters, Dorothy Frazier and Margie Modisette.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Tammie McCain Ham and husband James, one son, Thomas L. McCain and wife Jenelle; and one granddaughter, Tara Travis and husband Bret, one grandson Scott Bundick and wife Robin; five great-grandchildren, Jade and Carsyn Travis and Stephen, Lauren, and Jason Bundick. She is also survived by two nieces, Doris Gigax and Donna Ratcliff; and one grand-nephew and three grand-nieces.
