Dorothy Grace Hasha

Dorothy Grace Hasha, 89, passed away on April 10, 2018 at a local hospital.

Mrs. Hasha was from Lake Arthur, LA and lived most of her life in Lake Charles, LA. She was a toll operator for Bell South Telecommunications. She enjoyed working in her yard, watching game shows, and was an avid reader. Most of all she loved her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her six children, Daniel Gary Hasha, Deanna Gay Hasha-Myers, Dane Gregory Hasha, Donald Glenn Hasha, Donna Gail Buffa, and Thomas John Hasha and wife Shelia; eight grandchildren, Jeremy Hasha, Shannon Hasha, Derek Hasha, Joshua Hasha, Dusty Hasha, Samantha Houston, Danielle Voros, and Jared Hasha; twelve great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a brother, Gary Broussard.

She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Hasha; parents, John and Marie Broussard; and six siblings.

A funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home at 10AM on Friday, April 13, 2018. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Rev. Ronnie Estes will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home at 5PM to 8PM on Thursday, April 12 and will continue at 9AM Friday morning until the start of the service.
