Dorothy Marie Johnson Guillory

Dorothy Marie Johnson Guillory, 91, passed away on September 29, 2018 at a local care facility.

Mrs. Guillory is fondly remembered by her family as a gardener, caretaker, and homemaker.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Renee’ Peppers (Paul); grandson, Captain Brian Guillory (Robin); three great grandchildren, Airman 1st Class Michael Guillory, Steven Rushing (Angie), and PFC Adriana’ Shuff-Howard; two brothers, Elvin and Lee Johnson; caretakers and neighbors, Joyce LeJeune, and Sharon Stahl; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Clifford Guillory; parents, Rene and Alma Johnson; son, Joseph Terrell Guillory; and seven brothers.

A Burial of Christian Mass will be at Johnson Funeral Home at 10AM on Tuesday, October 2, 2018. Burial will be at 2PM following the service at Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery. The Very Reverend Anthony Fontenot will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home at 9AM until the start of the service.
