Dorothy Marie Wallace

Dorothy Marie Wallace, 82, of Lake Charles died on Friday, October 19, 2012 in her residence.

Mrs. Wallace was a life- long resident of Lake Charles. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church for many years. Mrs. Wallace worked for the JMF convenient stores in the lake area as a store clerk. She loved spending time with her family and friends and taking care of her mother. Mrs. Wallace liked to play BINGO and crocheting in her spare time. She was loved by all.

She is survived by one daughter, Kimberly LaDuke and her husband Dana Merrill of Redford, New York, three grandchildren; Ashley Renee Kinnette, Jacob Merrill and Mikayla Merril, two nephews, Michael Wallace and his son Jace Wallace and granddaughter Jade Wallace, Nephew, Richard Allen Guillory, niece, Debbie Mendoza, and special friends, Grizzly and Amanda Welch.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 3:00 PM in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Sister Denise LeJeune will officiate. Inurnment will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation Thursday will be from 1:00 PM until the time of service in the funeral home.
