Dot Cryer

Dot Cryer, 90, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 22, 2016.  Dot was an avid lover of nature.  She loved to garden, sew, fish and travel.  Dot was a lifetime homemaker and a member of Houston River Baptist Church where she loved her Sunday school class.

Dot is survived by her children, Robbie McCarty, Jennifer Johnson Hagan and husband Clayton, and Sam McCarty; her grandchildren, Jaime, Casey, Shane, Candace and Courtney; 8 great grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Sheba.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Ray Cryer. 

Services will be held on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 10 AM at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur with Brother Lonnie Gothrup officiating.  Burial will be in Highland Memory Garden Cemetery in Lake Charles.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 27, 2016 from 3-6 PM at the funeral home.
