Douglas Keith Levingston

Douglas K. Doug Levingston, 68, of Lake Charles passed away Friday, May 17, 2013 near Anacoco, LA in Vernon Parish.

He was a native and life resident of Lake Charles and attended Lake Charles High School, LaGrange Senior High School and McNeese State University. Doug was a graduate of the Gemological Institute of American and worked in Gold and Jewelry sales for twenty five years. He worked with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's office in Volunteer Community Service. Doug was a Veteran of the U. S. Navy.

Survivors include his wife of forty-three years, Coco Lacy Levingston of Lake Charles; one daughter, Lori Lacy Levingston of Austin, TX; sister, Anna Papin Levingston, and stepfather, Hollace Lee English both of Lake Charles. He is preceded in death by his father, William Edward Levingston and mother Gloria Duplechain English, and sister, Charlotte Levingston Metcalf.

His funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 21 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Chris Fuselier will officiate. Private family graveside services will be held at a later time. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, today and continue from 9:00 AM until time of service, Tuesday.
