Doyle W Weldon, Sr.

 Doyle Webster Weldon, Sr., 78, of DeQuincy passed away on November 25, 2019 in a local care facility. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, wood working and gardening. Doyle loved to go to auctions, work on small engines and walking his dog.

Doyle is survived by his son, Doyle W. “Bear” Weldon II and fiancé, Crystal Fontenot of DeQuincy; daughter, Tracie Weldon of Lake Charles; 2 grandchildren, Haden Marcus Weldon and Landon Blaine LeDoux; 2 step grandchildren, Aubrie McGrath and Dylan Fontenot; 2 sisters, Ruth Moore and Dorothy Ross; brother, James Weldon; a nephew he was fond of, Jason Weldon; plus numerous other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Andrea Weldon; brother, Robert Weldon; and sister, Fredine Turner.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 10 A.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marcus Wade officiating. Burial will be in Perkins Cemetery in DeQuincy under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 29, 2019 from 5-8 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Saturday, November 30, at 8 A.M. until time of the service.
