Dr. Thomas Michael Bowler, 57, died Friday, February 27, 2015, at his residence. Born to James Raymond and Vinita Vidrine Bowler, Dr. Bowler was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles. He graduated from A. M. Barbe High School, McNeese State University, and LSU School of Dentistry. He practiced dentistry in Sulphur, Louisiana from 1983 until his retirement in 2002. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by two beautiful daughters, Lauren Bowler and Ashley Bowler; one beloved grandson, Colton Gregg; and his son-in-law, Brandon Gregg, all of Lake Charles. A visitation in memory of Dr. Bowler will be held from 4 until 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home.
