Drew L. Caldwell, 100 passed away on August 8, 2013 in a local hospital. Drew was a native of Indian Bayou and lived in Sulphur for the past 65 years. He worked for Cities Service Refinery for 31 years before retiring in 1978. During retirement he enjoyed working in his shop, out back , repairing and restoring a variety of projects throughout the years. He was a hard worker and loved providing for his family. Drew was raised in Indian Bayou and moved to Texas where he graduated from Orange High School. He will be deeply missed. Drew is survived by his sons, Mitchell D. Caldwell and wife, Geraldine and Ritchell L. Caldwell and wife, Evonne all of Sulphur, Deldon L. Caldwell of Ingram, TX, and Kenneth R. Caldwell and wife, Pam of Houston, TX; daughter-in-law, Martha Caldwell; 11grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 44 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Nola Belle Caldwell; son, Huey D. Caldwell; and parents, Charlie and Maude Harrington Caldwell. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Carpenter officiating. Burial will be in Indian Bayou Cemetery in Indian Bayou, LA under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 10, 2013 from11am until 8 pm at the funeral home and will resume on Sunday from 8am until time of the service.
