Dustin Lane Snead

Dustin Lane Snead, 33, of Westlake passed away peacefully in the early morning of Saturday, September 27, 2014 in his residence in Rawlins, WY. Dustin was born on Jun 18, 1981 in Lake Charles and was a lifelong resident of Westlake and attended Westlake High School. He moved to Rawlins, WY in 2012 to work as a heat treat technician for Team Industrial Services. He enjoyed life to the fullest, had a great sense of humor, and liked to entertain others. Dustin will be remembered as a people person who enjoyed many things in life including camping, visiting around a bonfire, and four-wheeler riding. He also loved to cook and to listen to music. Most of all, Dustin loved children and adored his son and step children as well as his nieces and nephews. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother and step father, Dorothy and Allen Mccall, Jr. of Westlake; a son, George Bryson Snead and his mother, Meagan Lubbers and her two children. JJ and Nevaeha Lubbers all of Rawlins, WY; two brothers, Corey Snead and wife Sherina and Deric Snead and wife Diane all of Moss Bluff; three step children, Andrew Lamb, Morgan Poore, and Adrian Schbarth and their mother, Shelly Snead all of Westlake; nieces and nephews, Libby, AnnMarie, Ashlyn, and Noah Snead; and two step grandchildren, Cayden Fusilier and Blayke Lamb. He was preceded in death by his father, George Byrd Snead, Jr; a sister, Mellissa Lynn Snead; and his grandparents. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Jaceson Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake, LA. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and continue on Saturday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
