Dwight Charles Hunt

Dwight Charles Hunt, 60, of Sulphur, died Sunday December 11 at a local hospital.

He was born October 19, 1951 in Lake Charles to Eugene B. Hunt, Jr. and Kathleen Joyce Stroderd Hunt. He was a 1970 graduate of Sulphur High School and attended McNeese State University for two years. He later moved to Dallas and worked as a supervisor in the transportation of oil field products, where he stayed for over 30 years. Recently, Dwight moved back to Sulphur to be closer to his family.

Dwight was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Percy and Mildred Stroderd and beloved great grandmother, Pearl Reed. Those left to cherish his memory are two sisters, Kathy Vincent and Vicki Cormier, both of Sulphur and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
