Earl Francis "Paw Paw Pee" Carriveau, 77, of Lake Charles, LA died at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 30, 2014 in his residence. Mr. Carriveau was born October 10, 1936 in Sanvurn, MI and served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a cross country truck driver and retired from Mosquito Control, where he worked over ten years. He was a member of a local bowling league and also enjoyed playing card games, Cajun dancing, and working on vehicles and electronics. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him. Mr. Carriveau is survived by his daughter, Belinda Esthay; grandchildren, Sylvia Fawson, Nichole Carriveau, and Hope Verkler; great-grandchildren, Damon, Angelo, and Marilyn; and his siblings, Helen, Carol, Paul, Rose, Gerald, Harold, and Mary. He was preceded in death by his wife, Belsey Manuel Carriveau; parents, Joseph and Helen Carriveau, who enjoyed 57 years of marriage; seven brothers; and one sister. His memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Monsignor Danny Torres will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until the start of the service.
