Earldine “Dean” Viator, 81, of Sulphur passed away at 5:17 PM, Saturday, March 6, 2021 in a Lake Charles care facility.
Mrs. Viator was a native of Maurice, LA and lived in the Lake Charles/Sulphur area most of her life. She was a member of Our Lady of Lasalette Catholic Church, serving as a Eucharistic Minister, and a member of the Legion of Mary. Mrs.Viator worked at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home for many years, where she said many Rosaries for families in need.
She is survived by three daughters; Cheryl Delaney and husband Danny of Carlyss, LA, Tina Smith of Sulphur, LA, and Lyn Jessup and husband David of Lake Charles, LA, three sons; Greg Viator and wife Yvette of League City, TX, Gerad Viator and wife Stefanie of Carlyss, LA, and Joey Viator and wife Becky of Sulphur, LA; brother, Clifford Schexnaider; 21 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband J.C. Viator, her parents, and two brothers, Al and T.B. Schexnaider.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 10 at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in Sulphur. Reverend Andrews Kollannoor, M.S. officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Tuesday, with a Cursillo Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM, and continue Tuesday, from 9:00 AM until departing for the church. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines South under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
