Earlene Hebert Deason 79, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2015 surrounded by her family. Earlene was a loving Christian mother of the Baptist faith who enjoyed reading the bible to her children. Earlene is survived by her 2 sons, Jimmy Deason and wife Dorothy of Hackberry and Jack Deason of Carlyss; one daughter, Cheryl Deason of Carlyss; brother, A.J. Hebert of Hackberry; grandchildren, Stacy Spivey of Henderson, TX and Sean Spivey of Hackberry; 2 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; family friend, Myra Butler; her loving cat, Mr. Max; and numerous other family members and friends. Earlene is preceded in death by her parents, Dupre and Ellen Broussard Hebert; her husband, Billy F. Deason; sister, Linda Lou Hebert; brothers, Dupre Hebert, Jr. and Lester Hebert; grandson, Steven Spivey, and her inlaws, Martin and Ercle Deason. Services for Earlene will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 1 pm at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with Reverend Don Walker officiating. Burial will be at Mimosa Pines in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 3, 2015 at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home from 6-9 pm and resume on Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 9 am until the time of service.
