Eddie R Bergeron

Eddie R. Bergeron, 80, of Sulphur passed away on December 25, 2022. He was a member of Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church and worked for the Ward 4 Gravity Drainage for over 30 years. Eddie enjoyed gardening, fishing, horse racing, cooking and barbequing for family and friends. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, Jace, Jenna and Charley.

 Eddie is survived by his children, Ted Bergeron, Stephanie Leblanc and husband Jeff, Barry Bergeron, and Garry Bergeron all of Sulphur; 2 grandchildren Jace and Jenna Leblanc; 2 sisters, Carol Mires and husband, Donnie of Bridge City, TX and  Peggy David of Sulphur; one brother, Charles “Bully” Bergeron; one sister-in-law, Denise Suarez; 2 brother-in-law’s, Richard Suarez and Kim Suarez and wife Pam all of Sulphur. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl “Sherry” Bergeron; his parents, Charles “Ted” Bergeron and wife Marie Angelle Bergeron Duhon; sister, Alberta Romero and brother, Johnny Bergeron.

 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 11 A.M. at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in Sulphur with Father John Welch, M.S. officiating. Burial will be at Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 5-8 P.M. with a rosary at 6 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 9 A.M. at the funeral home until the time of leaving for the church.
