Eddie Ray "Dogg" Dubroc, Sr., 60, died Thursday, November 11, 2010, in the comfort of his home.
Born to Paul Love and Marie Bordelon Dubroc, Mr. Dubroc was born and raised in Fenton, Louisiana and was a graduate of Fenton High School. He lived most of his life in Fenton and the past fifteen years in Kinder. He served his country in the U. S. Army Military Police and was stationed in Japan. He was a blaster painter in the construction industry. Mr. Dubroc was an avid New Orleans Saints fan and enjoyed listening and dancing to the music of Elvis, the Beatles and the Temptations. Fishing was a favorite pastime. He will be most remembered for his sense of humor.
Mr. Dubroc is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Paxson Dubroc; children Eddie Ray "P-Nut" Dubroc, Jr., Charles Malcolm Paxson, II, Kamlin Rae Dubroc, Michael Shane Dubroc and Stacy Glen Young; stepsons, Joseph Paxson and Roman Augustine; nine grandchildren; brothers, Roy, Perry and Joseph Dubroc; sisters, Mary and Linda Dubroc; and numerous friends and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Pierre Dubroc, and sisters, Rita Chapman and Barbara Young.
Memorial services will be at a later date.
