Edith Mckinney

Edith "Dianne" McKinney, 63, of Lake Charles, LA died at 4:43 PM on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 in an Alexandria hospital. Mrs. McKinney was born December 21, 1949 in Mobile, AL and was a 1969 graduate of St. Charles Academy. She served her country in the U.S. Army Women's Corp. She was raised Catholic and was a member of the Christian faith. Mrs. McKinney is survived by her husband of thirty-one years, Kenneth McKinney of Jennings, LA; daughter, Melissa Amy Montijo of Weatherford, TX; son, Miguel Montijo of Memphis, TN; sister, Ruby Brame and husband Alfred of Lake Charles; brothers, Dudley Gulledge of Tuscaloosa, AL and Jerry Gulledge of Lake Charles, nephew, who was raised like a brother, Tommy Daly and wife Lynette of Crowley, LA; and six grandchildren. Her memorial service will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation will follow the service. Sister Jeannette Touchet will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the start of the service.
