Edna Elizabeth O’Kelley Lisotta, 87, of Lake Charles died Sunday, January 3rd, 2021 in a local care facility.
Mrs. Lisotta was born in Athens, GA and lived most of her life in Lake Charles and thirty years in Singer. She loved gardening, cooking, sewing and painting. She worked doing alterations for a dry cleaner and was the distributor for Beaumont Enterprise Newspaper for many years. She was a loving wife and mother.
She leaves to honor her memory son, Sammy Luke Lisotta and wife Tressie, Singer; three daughters, Cathy Lisotta Reeves and Gay Lisotta Gehrig and husband Doug, both of Lake Charles, and Cindy Lisotta Beaugh and husband Tim, Scott; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren’ Brother Larry O’Kelley and sister Annette as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gladys Seagraves O’Kelley and James Wiley O’Kelley; her husband Sam Salvador Lisotta; grandson, Jason Cole Reeves, and great-granddaughter, Alexis Kaitlyn Robinson.
A family funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at University Baptist Church with the Rev. Macus Wade having officiated. Interment followed at Consolata Cemetery.
