Edward John Pankiewicz, 64, of Lake Charles, LA, died on May 10, 2017 in his residence.

Mr. Pankiewicz was born September 20, 1952.  He was the owner / operator of Lake Area Chimney Services for over thirty years and was a former Union worker at the Port of Lake Charles.  He enjoyed bowling, playing poker and playing baseball with his grandchildren.  He will always be remembered for his outgoing personality and his smile.

Mr. Pankiewicz is survived by his step-sons, Garret Woods and Briton Woods; brother; and three grandchildren, Trinity, Leyton, and Jude Woods.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Beth Pankiewicz; and sister, Janice.

A celebration of Life will be on Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 4209 Marry Ann Lane, Lake Charles, LA 70605.
