Edward Lee "Ed" Ravia, 70, of Sulphur, died Thursday October 23, 2014 in Camden, Arkansas suddenly while on a hunting trip. Ed was born on March 19, 1944 to Lake Charles and was a lifelong resident of Sulphur. He was a carpenter by trade and an avid hunter. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Reyme and Dorothy Mae Dubois Ravia and a brother, Ricky Ravia. Those left to honor and cherish his memory are two sons, Roy Ravia and wife Katie Lynn and Felton Ravia; three daughters, Veronica Ravia, Kathy Young and husband Chris and Lindy Aultman and husband James; mother of his children and best friend, Mary; seven siblings, Richard Ravia and wife Pat, Loretta Douciere and husband Wilbur, Faye Bowers, Lois Crawford and husband Johnny, Wanda Morrison and husband Jim, Raymond L. Ravia and wife Lynn, and Daniel Ravia and wife Debbie; grandchildren, Renee, Randall, Koley, Katelyn, Kade, Hailey, Megan, Caleb, Lauren, Keli, Maddi, James, Kylie, and Skyla; Great-grandchildren, Garrett, Neely, Cayden, Liam and Mason; and numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Visitation will be today, Sunday October 26, at Johnson & Robison Funeral Home from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will resume on Monday at 8:00 AM until the start of the service. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, October 27, 2014, at the funeral home with Rev. Russell Beard officiating. Burial will be at Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly.
