Edward P. Esthay

Edward P. "Boo" Esthay, 52, of Lake Charles passed away Sunday, July 26, 2014 in Shreveport, LA. Mr. Esthay was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles. He worked most of his life as a roofer in the construction industry. As an avid outdoorsman, Mr. Esthay enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is survived by one daughter, Sylvia Esthay Fawson and husband Ron of Lemon Grove, CA; two brothers, Michael Esthay of the Woodlands, TX and Shane Bonvillion of Lake Charles; three sisters, Theresa Stutes and Linda Granger of Lake Charles and Margaret Carimi of Covington and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Annie Miller Esthay and two brothers, Raymond and Francis Esthay. Memorial services will be at 12:00 PM Tuesday, July 29, 2014 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Johnny Mounce will officiate. Gathering of friends Tuesday will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service in the funeral home.
