Elia Hebert Daigle

Elia Hebert Daigle, 98, of Lake Charles died Monday, April 09, 2012 in a local healthcare facility.

Mrs. Daigle was born in Big Lake, LA, lived thirty-five years in Lafayette and has lived the past forty years in Lake Charles. She attended Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Margie Spann of Lake Charles and Bertha Bourgeois of Slidell; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Bernice Fontenot of Sulphur and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Adam Daigle and seven brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, April 12, 2012 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Monsignor James Gaddy will officiate. Interment will follow in Grand Lake Community Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM.
