Isabel Carroll, 89, peacefully left her family to be reunited with the love of her life, Billy, who preceded her in death by two years. Isabel is survived by daughters, Sharon Mulgrew (Roy) of Moss Bluff, LA and Linda Shadeck (Willie) of Tucson, AZ; grandsons, Dr. Pearre Davenport, III (Nichole) of Moss Bluff, LA; Jason Carroll of Moss Bluff, LA; and Christopher Sause (Angelica) of Tucson, AZ; great-grandchildren, Caitlin and Gavin LaBiche and Conner Davenport of Moss Bluff, LA; Ethan Carroll of Moss Bluff, LA; and Presley and Cameron Sause of Tucson, AZ. Isabel was preceded in death by her parents Mathew and Mary "Mabel" (Connelley) Fennessey and her sister Marie Fennessey. After Isabel married Billy in 1943, they lived in Amarillo, TX, where she worked as a telephone switchboard operator. Later they moved to Clayton, NM where she and Billy worked for Red Ball Motor Freight. During this time she was also busy raising their family. In 1975 they transferred to Clovis, NM and in 1978 to Phoenix, AZ. Isabel ensured the new office in Phoenix was up and running to her standards so she would be able to retire from Red Ball and spend her time taking care of Billy, watching her soaps, and the Arizona Cardinals football games. She also loved spending time spoiling her grandsons Pearre, Jason and Christopher. She and Billy were able to take several vacations and spend more time visiting family. In 2005 they moved to Moss Bluff, LA to be closer to family. The family would like to say a heartfelt "Thank you" to Isabel and Billy's caretaker, Lillian Nelson. They felt as if Lillian was more like their "third daughter." Before Billy passed away he asked Lillian to take care of his beloved Isabel until he was able to return for her so they could be together forever. Lillian faithfully kept her promise to Billy.
