Elizabeth Iglinsky Farque

Elizabeth Iglinsky Farque, 73, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022 at her home.

Mrs. Farque was born on October 10, 1948 in Lake Charles, LA to William Iglinsky and June Iglinsky.  She graduated from LaGrange High School and enjoyed a 30-year career working at Walmart in Moss Bluff and North Lake Charles.  Elizabeth was a founding and lifelong member of New Life Worship Center where she worked tirelessly to serve others.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and friends, traveling, and giving to others.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Steven Paul Farque (Julie), Lane Farque (Jennifer), and Crystal Corr (Jimmy); grandchildren, Zachary Farque, Noah Farque, Bennett Farque, Savannah Farque, Garrett Corr, and Kyle Corr; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends, as well as others that grew up in Moss Bluff that she looked at as her own children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Farque; parents, William Iglinsky and June Iglinsky Irving; in-laws, CJ and Lena Farque; sister, Marsha Woodson.

Her funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 14, 2022.  Pastors Boxie Hardesty and Robert Kratzer will officiate.  Visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday and on Monday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.  A graveside service will follow at the Old Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made in her name to the church of your choice or New Life Worship Center in Moss Bluff.
