Elizabeth Martha Stofik, 94 of Sulphur passed away on January 28, 2014 in a local hospital. She was a native of Cleveland, Ohio and has lived in Sulphur for the past 19 years. Elizabeth is a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sulphur. Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Patricia Ann Trouth and husband, Richard of Carlyss; son, Gerald Stofik and wife, Mary of Orange, CT; 4 grandchildren, Keith Dolezal and wife, Terry, Mark Dolezal and wife, Jamie, Libby Edgren and husband, Daniel and Michelle Trouth; and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Stofik; parents, John and Anna Kitko; sister, Sister M. Bartholmew; and brother, Bart Kitko. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Sulphur with Father Aubrey Guilbeau officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Sulphur under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday. January 31, 2014 from 5-9 p.m. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with a scripture reading at 6 p.m. and will resume on Saturday at 8 a.m. until time of the service.
