Elizbeth Grace Romero

Elizabeth Romero, 77, of Lake Charles, LA died on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in a local hospital.

Elizabeth was born on March 10, 1938 in Bartlesville, OK to Robert and Edith James. She loved being around family and friends. Elizabeth also enjoyed cooking cookies and arts and crafts. She was a very faithful member of Southside Assembly of God in Sulphur, LA.

She is survived by two sons, Glen Romero and wife Dana of Sulphur, LA and Aaron Romero and wife Tina of Nederland, TX; three daughters, Diane Leger and husband Hilton of Lake Charles, LA and Pat Lovelace and husband James Wynn, and Linda Lisotta of Vinton, LA; twelve grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 33 years, Ulysse Romero; parents; and one sister, Clarice James.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, March 11, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation will resume from 8:00 AM until time of service on Friday at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Prien Memorial Park. Rev Phillip Cochran will officiate services.
